Senior Database Architect · 20+ Years

I design the data platforms enterprises can't afford to lose.

Twenty years architecting, migrating, and tuning database platforms for trading desks, asset managers, and global banks. GALVISINC brings that same rigor to consulting engagements — from a single slow query to a multi-petabyte cloud migration.

Executive summary

Hands-on across relational, columnar, in-memory, and distributed systems.

I've worked as developer, DBA, engineer, architect, and manager — which means I design systems with an honest sense of what it takes to run and support them at 2am, not just diagram them.

Most of my career has been inside financial services, where the database is the business: asset management, investment banking, and high-volume retail banking platforms that can't go down. I bring that same standard to every engagement, regardless of industry.

I currently lead a database engineering team at LiveRamp, so beyond the technical work I also bring hands-on experience with hiring, mentoring, on-call structure, and running a team against SLAs and delivery KPIs — useful if an engagement calls for interim leadership, not just architecture.
